Volunteers and clubs are extremely critical to the success of our work in 4-H.

There are several M4-HAVA individual, club and county award opportunities:

2009-2010 Minnesota 4-H Adult Volunteer Association awards have been adapted. The awards committee has worked to make the applications easier for volunteers to complete.  noted on the top of the award applications is purpose of the individual award and number of times volunteers can receive them.

Blue Ribbon Adult Volunteer Award
This award is to recognize volunteers for their involvement in Minnesota 4-H. You do NOT have to be a M4-HAVA member to receive this honor. This award may be achieved annually. We believe all volunteers are Blue Ribbon Volunteers and encourage everyone to nominate themselves every year.

Outstanding Volunteer Award
This award is to recognize volunteers for outstanding service to the Minnesota 4-H program. Work above and beyond the expectations of any volunteer is to be recognized. Volunteers MUST be nominated by other volunteers or 4-H staff. You do not have to be a M4-HAVA member to receive this honor. This is a once in a lifetime award. One recipient can be chosen from each of the four M4-HAVA districts each year. You MAY attach additional pages to support this nomination.

Blue Ribbon Club Award
This award is to recognize clubs for their involvement in Minnesota 4-H. Do NOT add extra pages to this application – they will not be considered.

Blue Ribbon County Award
This award is to recognize counties for their involvement in Minnesota 4-H. This award may be achieved annually.  Do NOT add extra pages to this application – they will not be considered.
